Notice how this is mar15.html, and yet the date right above says March 14th? Woah, freaky shit, huh? I mean, sure I usually write the entry the day after I say it is, and drift in and out of paster tenses, but today’s like reaaaally weird, cos I already have a mar14 file that I wrote on what must have been the 12th or 13th, but I was drunk and couldn’t think straight. No, that entry’s not going up. It’s good to count to ten sometimes.
Sometimes I’m scared that there’s only one level of ‘undo’ in the application that is my life, and even that doesn’t work all the time……….I’m also scared that I’ve started to view myself as a photoshop image, all layers and no content.
What a big geek.
Today I skipped Graphics and Design cos it’s a load of ass anyways, and it was raining. When I got up later, it was not, which was good. In 3D design today, I made a bunny rabbit’s head. For our first assignment, we have to make a genetically modified (or nodule stretched, at least) man to compete in three olympic events of our chosing. I’m in a group with Jodie and Fleur, and also Nick, which is good, cos he actually kinda knows what he’s doing. And Jodie’s lovely, and it’ll give me a chance to get to know Fleur better. We’re going to make our person run on all fours, and have webbed hands and feet so as to be a better swimmer.
When I got home, it poured on me, and increased to thunder and lightening. I rang up Mercury Energy to complain about the fact that our Ezi-Meter is unreadable, and was put on hold for long periods of time. Being smart, I didn’t wait too long, and I rang Vector – their fault company – instead. After like two ring-rings, I was connected to a lovely young man, who promised to send someone around in 3 hours time, apologising because they had some more serious problems. He was very concerned about whether or not we still had power, and commented on the rain he could hear in the background. He was so nice, in fact, that I gave him my name and number. Crazy. When the fixer guy showed up a hour or so later, he was a big dork, and accused me of trying to burn the cords on the power meter. I said it wasn’t us, but that the former tenants had been “bad people”. When I asked if he could turn off the way the meter beeps when there’s less than four days power to go, he said that it was an alarm to tell us we were running low. I said I knew that, and was it possible to get rid of it? He said that it was there because we didn’t have enough power. No no, not a circular conversation at all!
Shirley came around for dinner, and Maree came knocking on the door seconds before Pop Stars started. YAY! I was right on both counts about Sophie and Katie, which is cool cos they’re my faves. Unfortunately I did already know, cos OLIVIA TOLD ME! WHAT A DUMB STUPID GIRL! She stole Thomas’s skirt on sunday night, but he has her vespa hoodie, so ha ha ha!
Later tonight, we watched ‘Friday the 13th, Part 2″ which was better than the first one. Brad screamed in it this time. That amused me.
It’s the weekend for me already, although I do have some work to do. I am also starting a rather bad habit of playing Tetrinet with Kini’s ex friends. Heh.
