So where’s Joanna now? And what is she doing there? and where has she been?

Wellington. 21st and 50th. At home everyday in Auckland.

Other highlights of the past week or so have included:
‘Gone With the Wind’ at the Civic Theatre in Auckland. If you’re anywhere nearby, GO SEE IT! The colour has been redone, and it looks amazing. I love that movie so much. Love love love it. And the Civic has been restored too, and it’s fucking choice. I want Indian Palace spires in my lounge. And stars, and swirly cloud lights too. In fact, dammnit, I’m just going to move into the Civic.
Me and Clayton and Brad and Thomas all had lunch together around our dining table on Wednesday. It was really cool – like one happy family or something. Our house is looking very very cool, now that we have a dining room table clear of computer paraphanalia and all.
The powersupply in my computer died. It wasn’t a happy munchkin. As it’d cost $187 for the new part, I might just get a new case or even a new computer or something. I dunno. I have a very clever man working on the problem for me.
I drove to Hamilton on Wednesday night to stay overnight at Andee’s. I finally got to meet her man and all. They had magazines and Sky, so I was entertained. Wow, Roller Jam ads! The Sex Files! I crave Sky1 now. Her new flatmate looks just like Ren, which is something of an eire coincidence. I had to sleep on an uncomfortable pull out sofa, but she bought me donuts in the morning to have with very sweet, very milky coffee, which for some reason is just how I drink it in Hamilton
I tried to be classy with her, and follow the advice of Princess Diana’s butler when he appeared on the Oprah Millenium Party Special. I bought those mini bottles of bubbly, that he reccomended be drunk through straws, but Andee didn’t have any straws, so we had to quaff directly from the bottle. It was still fun though.
Andee and I drove down yesterday from Hamilton. It took eight hours, including stopping for lunch, and stopping for me to have stomach sickness runs icky yuck so not fun. Bad bad timing. Blargh.
So I’m back in welly now. I really should ring Jo and stuff. I would like to see her, yes indeedy.
Oh oh oh! I got an email from my friend Beth from ASIJ who I haven’t heard from in like 2 years, so that was very exciting. Very very exciting even. Yay.

That’s all for now.
